Boots Chris gave Lawrence 33 years ago!

Chris and I got to know and trust each other after the storm of 1987. There was so much tree damage at Old Down that we spent months, along with Carol, sawing dragging and burning wood. Chris was always calm and measured and able to apply his logic and practical skills to whatever task cropped up. He got me a pair of safety work boots, from the Electricity Board I believe and 33 years later they are still going strong! I wear them most days and they are an ever-present reminder of Chris, his care and concern for those near and dear to him and of the good times we had together
